Why I Chose Purpose Over Comfort
There are decisions that quietly redefine the course of your life. For me, one of those decisions was leaving my 9–5 job.
From the outside, it may have looked like a career change. But from the inside, it was a battle between security and purpose. I was leaving behind a predictable income and stepping into a future filled with uncertainty. I didn't have all the answers. What I had was a deep conviction that I was called to build something that would create lasting impact.
As I pursued that vision, reality quickly set in. Dreams require resources, and entrepreneurship demands resilience. To support myself while building my long-term mission, I started TRB Moi-Moi.
Some people might see it as "just a food business." I see it as one of my greatest teachers.
Through it, I've learned that every customer deserves excellence, every challenge is an opportunity to improve, and every small win is worth celebrating. Entrepreneurship has taught me discipline, patience, consistency, and the importance of serving people well.
At the same time, I continue to build The Rebuilders and Rebuilders Digital Hub. These platforms reflect my passion for helping people grow through mentorship, digital skills, leadership development, and purposeful learning.
This journey has reminded me that success isn't built overnight. It's built through daily choices, continuous learning, and the courage to keep moving even when the path ahead is uncertain.
If you're standing at the beginning of your own entrepreneurial journey, know this: you don't need to have everything figured out before you start. What you need is the willingness to take the next faithful step.
I'm still learning. I'm still growing. I'm still building. And I'm excited to share this journey with you not because I've arrived, but because I believe our stories become more meaningful when we allow others to learn from them.
